My daughter (age 5) and I had a ridiculously great time this Father's Day weekend using these nonstop.
Pump the pump, pull the trigger. Easy-peasy. The build quality is exceptional for the price point; we have no complaints. The guns were heavily used over two days, refilled, tossed around, dropped, thrown, and then mauled by my one-year-old. They have a couple grass stains on the white, but otherwise are operating perfectly.
Basically, these are everything you want and expect from a Super Soaker that has a max capacity of about half a liter.
I should probably point out that these are perfect for dual wielding. If you have man hands, like me, you should be able to pump one while holding the other, and then soak your kids.
And it must be pointed out that you can two of these for less than the price of the "Super Soaker Hydro Fury Water Blaster 2-Pack", these look cooler (not so "babyish" according to my daughter), and these have a larger capacity. I imagine these would be a better backup if your "main" goes empty and you're out of clips.

It works great. You should get a feel for how much you should pump, instead of just counting. Then you'll get the most out of a single fill-up, and your successive shots will fly straighter and farther. It's well-made, well-balanced, and cool-looking.

good value for a kid. Have to pump a lot to get the water to shoot out at constant speed.
Holds very little water so if you want it to last longer, i suggest you get a bigger models.
Overall not bad for its price for a kid 4-6 yr old.

This is a nice looking water pistol, but it leaks from the bottom. So yeah, get ready to get really wet.

We got these home and they worked really well the first time. Even my 3 year old could use it. However the next day they barely squirted water. I took one apart and it appears the hose that delivers water gets hard and stiff so that the water cannot get past where the trigger pinches it. Now 3 out of the 4 have the same problem. Returning them today.
