I bought this for my godson, who is very interested in cars/model cars lately (he's in second grade). He and his dad put the car together quickly with no problems, and were playing with it that afternoon .... He likes it alot, it is a small car and easy to use. Do note, it needs a smooth surface to drive on (not suitable for gravel, etc.). They drive it on a plywood board most of the time.

This car is really cool except that the wheels are not big enough to provide enough clearance to allow the car to move. The solar panel works well and you can hear and watch the wheels turn but once you set it on the ground it remains stuck. Larger wheels would greatly improve this product.

This thing didn't work at all. We tried to assemble it - which really is difficult, even for an old model builder like me. But it was a no-go - it simply didn't work.

This is the second OWI product I have bought now...and the second I am returning. All their toys are the size of your pinky and assembling them without breaking them is virtually impossible. First it was the seagull and now this racecar. I am all for educational, renewable toys, but the OWI brand is a waste of money. We hooked up this racecar and actually got the wheels to spin while holding it, but as soon as you place the car on a flat surface it goes nowhere. Very frustrating. I think OWI needs to build bigger models and charge a bit more and they will be successful - they have the right idea, just really poor implementation.
